• AI-powered strategy generation using natural language processing
• Historical market data access for backtesting
• Python code generation and execution environment
• Performance metrics and analytics
• Strategy storage and management
• Educational resources and documentation

2.2 Service Limitations

You acknowledge that:

• Backtesting results are based on historical data and do not predict future performance
• Market conditions, liquidity, and other factors may affect real trading results
• The Platform does not execute real trades or manage actual funds
• AI-generated strategies may contain errors or biases
• Historical data may have limitations or inaccuracies

3.1 No Financial Advice

The Platform and its content are for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Platform constitutes:

• Investment advice or recommendations
• Financial, trading, or investment guidance
• Solicitation to buy or sell securities
• Tax, legal, or accounting advice

3.2 No Guarantee of Results

We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any strategies generated or tested on the Platform. You acknowledge that trading involves substantial risk of loss.

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Platform only for personal, non-commercial research and educational purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
• Use automated systems or bots without permission
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Sell, resell, or commercially exploit the Platform
• Share your account credentials with others
• Circumvent usage limits or credit systems
• Use the Platform to develop competing services
• Manipulate or artificially inflate usage metrics

4.3 API and Rate Limits

You agree to comply with all applicable rate limits and API usage restrictions. Excessive use that impacts system performance may result in suspension or termination of access.

5.1 Platform Content

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Backtesting.dev or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of strategies and content you create. By using the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content.

5.3 Generated Code

Python code generated by our AI assistant is provided for your use. You may modify and use this code for your personal trading strategies, subject to these Terms and applicable laws.

5.4 Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or improvements you provide regarding the Platform becomes our property and may be used without compensation or attribution.

6.1 Pricing and Payment

Access to certain features requires payment. You agree to:

• Pay all fees according to the pricing plan you select
• Provide accurate and complete payment information
• Promptly update payment information as needed
• Be responsible for all taxes and fees

6.2 Credit System

The Platform uses a credit system for backtesting. Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and expire according to our credit policy. Free daily credits reset at midnight UTC.

6.3 Refund Policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time with notice.

6.4 Chargebacks

Any chargeback or payment dispute may result in immediate account suspension. You agree to pay any fees associated with chargebacks or payment disputes.

8.1 Service "As Is"

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF RESULTS
• UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION

8.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BACKTESTING.DEV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
• LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE
• TRADING LOSSES OR INVESTMENT DECISIONS
• ERRORS OR INACCURACIES IN BACKTESTING RESULTS
• UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT
• THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS OR CONTENT

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8.3 Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and agree that trading and investment decisions carry inherent risks. You assume full responsibility for any decisions made based on information obtained from the Platform.

10.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Termination does not entitle you to any refunds.

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately. We may delete your account and content. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

11.1 Arbitration Agreement

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

11.2 Class Action Waiver

YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.

11.3 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Backtesting.dev regarding the Platform.

12.2 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or Platform notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

12.4 Waiver

No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

12.5 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

12.6 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, or acts of civil or military authorities.
